Erin MacEachern pronounced AY-rin MAK-EK-ren
Erin MacEachern is an illustrator and designer based in Lowell, MA
I am a dog mom, compulsive doodler, and my road trip snack of choice is spicy chili Doritos.
Hand lettering and illustration for products is my jam. I’m a versatile artist and designer with a strong background in illustration, surface design, and print production, focused on creating thoughtful art and compelling products. I graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design’s Illustration program in 2018 and have since worked both in-house and freelance across publishing, branding, and consumer products.
With over 7 years experience, I develop concept-driven artwork for paper goods, textiles, and apparel, translating ideas into production-ready visuals that balance creativity, storytelling, and intentional design decisions. My work spans the paper and textile industries, where I create illustrations, patterns, and graphics while making sure everything feels cohesive and makes sense for the brand and the people it’s for.
Alongside my professional practice, I teach Digital Illustration, where I mentor emerging artists, guide conceptual thinking, and help students develop strong visual narratives and professional habits. Teaching keeps me curious, collaborative, and deeply engaged in how ideas become visuals.
Past clients include HalfPenny Postage, CoolGear Inc., Gibbs Smith Publishing, and The Gift Wrap Company. Currently, I work as a contract illustrator and designer for TJX Companies, creating graphics for children’s apparel and contributing to concept development and product design.
I love shaping ideas, solving visual problems, and bringing personality and intention to everything I make!
