Junk Series is a group of illustrations about capturing different narratives, characters, and environments that are all a part of the same world. They explore a world where nature is fighting back and reclaimed aspects of human civilization. Exploring the unity of man-made and nature as well as organic and non-organic. This series was shown at 13Forest Gallery in 2018 for their “Curiosities” show. I spent some time in Las Vegas as a child visiting my grandfather and was always inspired by the vintage signs and desert, and as I grew older, seeing the urban landscape age with me, along with the nature reclaim was inspiring for me.
